Future Outlook : Seeing strong businesses become stronger

The COVID-19 event has truly divided our timeline into pre and post, whether we like it or not. A clutch of businesses find themselves on the positive side of this divide whereas a lot many have been negatively impacted in the short term. Whether the majority of these will be able to make it to the end of the tunnel in times to come will determine how successful we have been in counteracting against this pandemic. We are seeing strong businesses become stronger while regular, on the fence businesses are either becoming stronger or are likely to perish. Each business has had to justify its existence as revenue, profitability and return on capital employed have become essential conversations. Overall, things are shaping up well and we remain confident of our companies and the overall portfolio to deliver some scaled up world class businesses.
